This master walkthrough explains how each section on the public site operates, how to replace demo content with real production data, and how to verify everything before full public launch.
Where it shows: Top hero billboard on the public site.
How to manage: Use the GIGS & BILLBOARDS tab. Click EDIT to update any flyer's title, lineup, venue, and Eventbrite ticket link. To set a secret warehouse show, set the ticket link to #secret-rsvp-modal and the button will automatically open the confidential RSVP pass generator.
Where it shows: The Bootleg Merch Vault section.
How to manage: Use the MERCH & SQUARE VAULT tab. Add your items with comma-separated Sizes (e.g. S, M, L, XL, 2XL) and Colors (e.g. Vintage Black, Washed Olive). Paste your direct Square Payment Link (from your Square dashboard $\rightarrow$ Payment Links). Buyers on the site can select their size & color in an interactive modal and proceed straight to Square.
Where it shows: Persistent dual-spool cassette deck at the bottom of the screen.
How to manage: Use the TAPE DECK & AUDIO tab. You can either upload raw .mp3 or .wav files directly into the vault (they are stored in public/audio/), or connect an external streaming audio URL. If visitors play on a browser that blocks background MP3 autoplay, our procedural analog triangle-bass synth automatically engages as a fallback.
Where it shows: Crime Wave TV CRT broadcast monitor.
How to manage: Use the CRIME WAVE TV tab. Paste any YouTube video ID or watch URL for the 4 active channels (Codefendants, Dizzy Wright, Crime Wave TV episodes, Hieroglyphics, etc.). The VHS tracking OSD updates live.
Where it shows: Collective Syndicate Roster section.
How to manage: Use the COLLECTIVE ROSTER tab. Sam King is established as Founder & Creative Director, Dave as Curator / Tech & Design, and Doug MacDonald as Curator / Multi-Venue Organizer & Merch Director. You can edit any bio, handle, or badge tag, or induct new artists anytime.
Where it shows: Interactive Street Wall section.
How it works: Zero-setup multi-user synchronized canvas! Whenever any visitor slaps a sticker or sprays graffiti, it pushes to /api/canvas/* and broadcasts to all visitors in real time.
How to manage: Use the USERS & OPERATORS tab to create dedicated logins for crew members. Every single modification to shows, merch, tracks, or roster is timestamped and permanently logged in AUDIT LOGS with the operator's name.
